What is FordPass™ Rewards?

FordPass Rewards is an exciting program that allows members to earn and redeem valuable Points on vehicle service and maintenance or new vehicle purchases.

What happened to Owner Advantage Rewards®?

Owner Advantage Rewards (OAR) was converted to FordPass Rewards. Former OAR members had until June 30, 2020 to migrate their balance into FordPass Rewards.

• Dealer-funded Service Rewards - Migrated into equivalent value of FordPass Rewards Points and will be available for redemption at Lester Glenn Ford

Membership

How do members join FordPass Rewards?

Joining FordPass Rewards is easy. When customers download the FordPass App or register on owner.ford.com, they automatically become members of FordPass Rewards. Get started by downloading the FordPass App for iPhone or Android. A FordGuide and the dealership can also assist with enrollment.

Are FordPass App users automatically enrolled in FordPass Rewards?

Yes. When customers accept terms and conditions for FordPass (either through the app or online), they are automatically enrolled in FordPass Rewards. If FordPass members joined prior to March 2019, they will need to accept the new terms and conditions and will then be enrolled in FordPass Rewards.

Can a customer sign up for FordPass Rewards without an email address?

No, customers cannot sign up for FordPass Rewards without an email address.

Do members need to own a Ford vehicle to participate in FordPass Rewards?

No. Members can still enjoy all the benefits of FordPass Rewards without owning a Ford vehicle. Points are associated with a member account, not a vehicle.

Can a member share a FordPass Rewards account with family?

No. FordPass Rewards accounts are based on the individual account owner.

Do members have to use the FordPass App to earn rewards?

No. Members can earn FordPass Rewards at their participating dealership and view their account online at FordPassRewards.com. However, they do a need a Ford Owner or Lincoln Owner account to participate. The FordPass App is necessary to complete FordPass Connect modem activation for modem-equipped vehicles to earn Points with your vehicle purchase.

If a member has more than one FordPass Rewards account, can they combine the accounts or redeem from more than one account on a single transaction?

No. Accounts may not be combined, and a member may only redeem from one account on a single repair order or transaction.

Can a member combine their account with the account of a family member or friend?

No. Accounts may not be combined, and any earning and redemption is separate.

Can a customer be a member of both FordPass Rewards and Lincoln Access Rewards™ and transfer Points between accounts?

FordPass Rewards and Lincoln Access Rewards are designed to align with the member's vehicle. A customer may be a member of both programs, but as separate programs, Points cannot be transferred between accounts. In addition, a member may only redeem from one account on a single repair order or transaction.

Are Points earned when members visit a Quick Lane?

Yes, a member has the same earning and redemption opportunities at participating Quick Lanes as they do in dealership service lanes.

*The same earning, redeeming, and membership details applies to Lincoln Owner accounts and Lincoln Access Rewards members. Lincoln and Mercury vehicles fall under the Lincoln Access Rewards Program and these owners should create a Lincoln Owner account to participate in earning and redeeming rewards.

How do members view their FordPass Rewards Points balance?

Members can see FordPass Rewards Points balances when logged in to their Owner account or in the FordPass App under the Account tab. The dealer can also look up the balance.

Is FordPass Rewards just for FordPass™ Connect™ customers and new vehicle buyers?

FordPass Rewards is available to everyone. Customers can join when they purchase a new vehicle or later in their ownership.

How will members receive communications about the latest FordPass Rewards program information?

FordPass Rewards members will receive member-exclusive communications via email, in-app messaging or other forms of digital messaging.

Earning Points

How do members earn FordPass Rewards Points?

FordPass Rewards Points can be earned through the purchase of Motorcraft® or Omnicraft™ parts, and any associated labor from Lester Glenn Ford and by members participating in activities and offers from Ford, through the FordPass App or website. Point-earning opportunities could include (not all available at program launch):

Points with new vehicle purchase for completing the following:

• Purchasing or leasing a new retail Ford vehicle from a participating dealer
  
  
• Activating and maintaining FordPass Connect modem*
  
  
• Joining FordPass Rewards within 60 days of purchase
  
  
• Points with Ford Blue Advantage vehicle purchase for joining within 60 days of purchase**
  
  
• Having your vehicle serviced (retail repair orders only) at a participating dealer (restrictions apply.)

• Completing a digital brand experience (e.g., survey, video)

How many FordPass Rewards Points do members earn for service at their participating dealership?

Members can earn 10 FordPass Rewards Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases of parts and service at any participating dealership.

How do members earn Points in the service drive?

Members will earn Points when they purchase a Ford, Motorcraft® or Omnicraft™ part and any associated labor from a participating Ford dealer. Members will earn 10 Points per $1 spent. Non-Ford parts or services will not earn Points.

If a Ford, Motorcraft or Omnicraft part cannot be used in the repair of a competitive-make vehicle, can the member still earn Points?

Earning is limited to repair orders with a Ford, Motorcraft or Omnicraft part.

Can members earn FordPass Rewards Points when traveling outside of the U.S.?

International earning and redemption is not available at this time; Points are only earned and redeemed in the United States.

Will members be able to earn Points for accessories they are adding to their vehicle at the time of purchase?

Not at this time.

How do members find a participating dealer at which they can earn FordPass Rewards Points?

Inquiring members will be able to search for participating dealers online or through the FordPass App

How long does it take for Points to appear in a member's account?

Points will be deposited into a member's account within ten (10) days of the qualifying service transaction and 30 days of the sales transaction. Certain activities may require additional time to validate qualifying transactions.

Can FordPass Rewards Points earned at a member's preferred dealer be redeemed at any dealer?

Yes. FordPass Rewards Points can be redeemed at any participating dealer.

What if members have earned FordPass Rewards Points, but they are not displaying in their account balance?

Please contact the Rewards Center at 833-385-0516 (U.S. only).

Is there a cap on the number of Points a member can earn and redeem?

There is no cap on Point earning or redemption.

Redeeming Points

How do members redeem FordPass Rewards Points?

FordPass Rewards Points can be redeemed for any qualifying transaction at any participating dealership. A member may also redeem Points toward the purchase of a new vehicle at a participating dealership.

Can members give their FordPass Rewards Points to someone else?

No. At this time, FordPass Rewards Points cannot be gifted to another FordPass Rewards member.

Do FordPass Rewards Points expire?

FordPass Rewards Point balances expire and are forfeited when a member has not earned Points, redeemed Points or fulfilled a reward earned through FordPass Rewards for 365 consecutive calendar days. App usage does not qualify as activity needed to keep Points from expiring. To help in these uncertain times, expiration of FordPass Rewards Points has been extended to April 1, 2021, for Points earned prior to April, 2020. Points earned after April 1, 2020 will expire at the 365-day mark with no other activity.

Can FordPass Rewards Points be redeemed on Fordparts.com?

Not at this time. FordParts.com doesn't currently integrate with the FordPass ecosystem.

Points with Vehicle Purchase

Does a member receive Points with a vehicle purchase?

FordPass Rewards provides 42,000 Points with the purchase or lease of a new vehicle and the activation of FordPass Connect (75,000 Points for diesel). The FordPass Rewards Points may be used in a variety of ways: Members will have the choice to use the Points toward service (virtually eliminating the cost of up to three scheduled service visits) or accessories, or save them to use for their next new vehicle purchase or lease. Points are flexible.

Customers who purchase or lease a new Ford battery electric vehicle will receive 250 kWh of complimentary charging for use at Electrify America fast-charging stations and 22,000 Points if they join within 60 days of vehicle purchase and activate the FordPass Charging Network access. Customers who purchase a Ford Blue Advantage vehicle will earn 22,000 Points for a Gold Certified vehicle and 11,000 Points for a Blue Certified vehicle if they join within 60 days of vehicle purchase.

How do members receive the FordPass Rewards Points with vehicle purchase?

To receive this offer on a new vehicle, a customer must:

1. Purchase or lease a new retail Ford vehicle from a participating dealer

Can a customer activate a modem without a smartphone or tablet?

No, a smartphone or tablet is required for modem activation.

Will customers who purchase new vehicles without a FordPass Connect modem be eligible for FordPass Reward Points?

Yes, in this case, the customer does not need to connect a modem, but they must enroll in FordPass Rewards and purchase or lease a new vehicle to earn the 42,000 Points.

How many FordPass Rewards Points do members get when they purchase a vehicle?

Members receive 42,000 FordPass Rewards Points for a new gas-powered vehicle and 75,000 Points for a new diesel vehicle - enough Points to virtually eliminate the cost of up to three scheduled service visits or for future service or new vehicle purchases. Members who purchase or lease a new Ford battery electric vehicle earn 250 kWh of complimentary charging through FordPass™ Rewards on Electrify America fast charging stations and 22,000 Points. Members who purchase or lease a Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle earn 22,000 Points.

Members who purchase or lease a new Ford battery electric vehicle receive 250 kWh of complimentary charging through FordPass™ Rewards for use at Electrify America fast-charging stations plus 22,000 Points to use toward maintenance or accessories. Members who purchase a Ford Blue Advantage vehicle earn 22,000 Points for Gold Certified vehicles and 11,000 Points for Blue Certified vehicles.

Does the Points offer apply to certified pre-owned or used vehicles?

42,000 FordPass Rewards Points are available for new vehicle purchases. Ford Blue Advantage vehicle purchasers (previously Ford Certified Pre Owned) will earn 22,000 Points for Certified Gold vehicles and 11,000 Points for Certified Blue vehicles. Used vehicles not certified under Ford Blue Advantage do not qualify.

Does the Points offer apply to certified pre-owned or used vehicles?

42,000 FordPass Rewards Points are available for new vehicle purchases. Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle purchasers will earn 22,000 Points. Used vehicles do not qualify.

Do battery electric vehicles follow the same rules and processes for earning Points?

Members who purchase or lease a new Ford battery electric vehicle receive 250 kWh of complimentary charging through FordPass™ Rewards for use at Electrify America fast-charging stations. Plus, battery electric vehicle buyers earn 22,000 Points to use toward maintenance or accessories.* Points earned through service visits at a participating dealership follow the same rules as gas-powered vehicles.

*Modem must be activated within 60 days of purchase through the FordPass App and remain active for at least 6 months after activation. FordPass Charging Network access must be activated. Complimentary charging expires 2 years from Warranty start date. Offer excludes idle fees associated with charging. See dealer for important details.

2020 Model Year and beyond Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles are supported by the FordPass App. Owners of these vehicles need to download the FordPass App to enroll in FordPass Rewards and activate their modem to earn FordPass Rewards Points with their purchase.*

C-MAX Energi, FusionEnergi, and Focus Electric are not supported by the FordPass App, but are compatible with the MyFord Mobile app. Owners are encouraged to download and use MyFord Mobile to enjoy benefits of connectivity. These customers are still eligible to earn FordPass Rewards Points with their new vehicle purchase/lease by enrolling online or via FordPass App download.**

What can members expect when they use their FordPass Rewards Points?

• 7,500-mile service: Oil & filter change, tire rotation and multi point inspection

            - Members Redeem: Gas: 11,000 Points; Diesel: 20,000 Points

• 15,000-mile service: Oil & filter change, tire rotation and multi point inspection

            - Members Redeem: Gas: 11,000 Points; Diesel: 20,000 Points

• 22,500-mile service: Oil & filter change, cabin air filter, tire rotation and multi point inspection

            - Members Redeem: 20,000 Points; Diesel: 35,000 Points

Are there any model year restrictions for the Points earned with vehicle purchase?

No, all new vehicle retail sales/leases are eligible with a sale date on or after the national launch of FordPass Rewards.

Can these FordPass Rewards Points be used for something other than maintenance visits?

Yes. Members may use their Points for Ford service, accessories, or anything else that can be redeemed for in FordPass Rewards. This could include a discount towards the purchase of their next vehicle.

How does a member activate the modem?

See the instructions.

What happens if the modem is deactivated before the six-month period?

If a member deactivates the modem on their vehicle prior to the required 180-day period the FordPass Rewards Points earned (42,000 Points for gas and 75,000 Points for diesel) will be removed from the member account. If the member has redeemed part or all of the earned rewards, FordPass Rewards will deduct the remaining Points from the member account.

How long does it take for the Points with vehicle purchase to appear in a member's account?

It can take up to 30 days for the Points to appear in the member's FordPass Rewards account. Contributing factors include: the vehicle sale report date from the dealership, the modem activation date and the date the customer joined FordPass Rewards.

What's the difference between FordPass Rewards and the FordPass Rewards Visa Card?

FordPass Rewards is available to anyone who wants to sign up and earn 10 FordPass Rewards Points1 per $1 spent on eligible service and maintenance. The FordPass Rewards Visa is a credit card that earns Points on every purchase - wherever you go. No matter how you earn the Points, you can redeem them on your Lester Glenn Ford Purchases.

Is there an annual fee2?

No, so enjoy having one less fee to think about every year.

How often can I use the Everyday Special Financing?

The Special APR2Financing offer is available every time you use your FordPass Rewards Visa for Ford Dealership Purchases of $499 or more. Remember, purchases must be in a single transaction but can be multiple items. It's automatic! There's nothing extra you need to do.

How does the 10% Back in Points1 on Ford Service work?

When using your card on Ford Service purchases, your Points will actually stack: You'll automatically earn 5% Back in Points on Lester Glenn Ford Purchases plus 5% Back in Points with FordPass Rewards.

Is this card associated with the Ford Service Credit Card?

No, the FordPass Rewards Visa is completely separate. The FordPass Rewards Visa is a traditional credit card that can be used everywhere Visa is accepted. The Ford Service Credit Card is a private label card that can only be used at Lester Glenn Ford.
