The 2026 Ford Super Duty lineup features four different engines to choose from. The base engine for the first two entrants is a 6.8-liter V8 powerplant that generates 400 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. An available 7.3-liter V8 powerplant that produces 430 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque is the midlevel engine.
The other option is a diesel 6.7-liter V8 engine that's available in two states of tune. Low-output versions of the diesel engine deliver 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. For more power, you'll want to step up to a pickup with the high-output version of the same engine, which roars to life with 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque.

Towing and hauling capacities for the 2026 Ford Super Duty depend on the model and engine you choose. When properly outfitted, the 2026 Ford F-250 can tow as much as 22,000 lbs and haul up to 4,246 lbs. The 2026 Ford F-350 is even more capable and can tow as much as 28,000 lbs with a bumper-mounted hitch. If outfitted with a gooseneck trailer hitch, its tow rating increases to a massive 38,000 lbs.
